Visiting a Naturopathic Doctor should be easy and comfortable. Dr. Breckon creates a space where you can openly discuss your concerns and she works with you to create a treatment plan that fits with your life.
During your first visit, you’ll sit down with Dr. Breckon to discuss your health concern(s) and health goals. Dr. Breckon will also complete a brief health exam (including blood pressure, pulse, examination of your area of concern).
Dr. Breckon will then work with you to create a personalized treatment plan. Plans can include treatments for immediate relief/impact (e.g. IV therapy, dietary changes), and of course, will include treatments for long-term healing. She may also provide some reading materials. Sometimes follow-up testing will be recommended.
It can sometimes be intimidating to start treatment or make changes, and Dr. Breckon will work with you to find out what motivates you and make sure your plan is achievable and sustainable.
NOTE: Please bring copies of any recent lab work you may have had done as these can help Dr. Breckon with her assessment and recommendations.
You follow your treatment plan and ask questions along the way if needed
Your personalized plan will include easy to follow instructions or goals. If at any time you have questions about the plan, you can contact Dr. Breckon via email.
Sit down with Dr. Breckon to discuss your progress with the treatment plan and conduct a health assessment. If further testing was done, it will be discussed at this point. You’ll work with Dr. Breckon to discuss next steps.
